Joshua Edmond

Joshua Edmond represents District 3 and was elected in 2023 with 57% of the vote. A Carencro High graduate, he works as a maintenance supervisor at UL Lafayette.

Edmond is active across Acadiana civic life — a mentor chair for 100 Black Men, a Habitat for Humanity board member, co-founder of the All4One Foundation, president of Oasis Coterie, and a Parish Proud ambassador, among other roles.
