
Louisiana Supreme Court "tosses" West Monroe man’s murder conviction in 30-year-old child death case
The Louisiana Supreme Court has upheld a lower court decision to overturn the first-degree murder conviction of West Monroe resident Jimmie C. Duncan in a 30-year-old child death case. Duncan was convicted in 1993 for the death of 23-month-old Haley Oliveaux, who suffered a seizure while in his care.
