Jeremy Hidalgo

Background

Jeremy Hidalgo represents District 9 and is serving his second, non-consecutive term, having taken office again in January 2024. A Milton native and Comeaux High graduate, he first served on the board from 2015 to 2019.

Hidalgo runs the consulting firm Parish Strategy Group and owns several small businesses. During his first term he helped secure roughly $140 million for District 9 schools — funding Southside High, expansions at Milton Elementary/Middle and Martial Billeaud Elementary, and more — and has since worked to fund a Southside High stadium. His wife is a longtime LPSS teacher and their children attend public schools.
