Ken Stansbury
Background
Ken Stansbury has represented Lafayette Parish Council District 3 since January 2024. A Michigan native, he has lived in Lafayette Parish for more than 39 years and built his career here as a Financial Advisor with Cornerstone Financial Group, where he has worked for 17 years. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Stansbury also serves as an Intelligence Officer in the Louisiana Air National Guard with the 122d Air Support Operations Squadron. Before winning his parish seat, he served nine years on the Youngsville City Council, starting in 2015, resigning upon his 2023 election win.
In the community, Stansbury serves as Assistant District Governor for Rotarians of Lafayette Parish and spearheaded bringing The Choices Workshop program to eighth graders across the parish. He is married to Jodi Stansbury and has three children.
