
Kenneth Boudreaux
Background
Kenneth Boudreaux has represented Lafayette City Council District 5 since January 2024, returning to elected office after previously serving three consecutive terms on the Lafayette City-Parish Council from 2008 to 2019. During that tenure he served three years as council chairman and seven years as finance committee chairman.
A lifelong Lafayette resident, Boudreaux graduated from Northside High School and the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He works as an employee of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and is also a small business owner and radio talk show host.
He has three adult children — Jasmine, Kayla, and Reginold — and three grandchildren. His public service is rooted in a family tradition that spans education, military service, law enforcement, and healthcare.
